Christophe Kalkau is a composer, pianist and sound designer. He brings stories to life through music and immersive sound.
He studied Jazz & Pop Piano at the Jazz & Rock School Freiburg and the University of Music in Nuremberg, then specialised in Film Music & Sound Design at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, graduating in 2011.
Based in Würzburg and working internationally, he writes music and sound for film, games and interactive media, from narrative adventures to VR titles.
From orchestral writing to electronic and hybrid soundscapes, the aim stays the same: engage the listener, carry the story, stay in memory.
